At any moment you have the power to say
"This is not how the story ends."

At any moment you have the power to say "This is not how the story ends."

It wasn't supposed to be this way.
It should have been different.
It’s never going to get better.
I don’t know what else I could have done.
I don’t know what else to do.

It wasn't supposed to be this way. It should have been different. It’s never going to get better. I don’t know what else I could have done. I don’t know what else to do.

Sound familiar?

I’ve heard these words from friends, family, clients, and complete strangers for years. Narratives that feel most personal are, in fact, the most universal—the heartache and disappointment of a story that went wrong or never occurred. The event that abruptly changed the future or the reverberating thoughts that keep life from feeling bearable. The plot twist that came out of nowhere or the worst nightmare becoming a reality.

Perhaps you feel like your own brain has become the villain of your story. Maybe it seems you have tried everything and you’re convinced it would just be easier to let the villain win.

Whatever your story has been up to this point, I want to hear it. Rather than try to change your past, I want to hear about those bygone chapters: the beautiful, the tragic, or the somewhere in-between.

No matter what your story has been, I can help you write this chapter now.
